DEEP FRIED BAO WITH YOUR FAVOURITE ICE-CREAM

INGREDIENTS
2 x Bao
Oil for deep-frying
Icing sugar
2 scoops of your favourite ice cream
METHOD
Steam bao till they are heated through (Click the link to see how)
Pour enough oil into a small saucepan to shallow fry the Bao. Heat the oil to 170 degrees Celsius.
Carefully lower the bao into the oil using a pair of metal tongs.
Once the bao are golden on one side turn them over and fry the other side.
Remove the bao from the oil and place on kitchen towel to remove excess oil.
Dust with icing sugar.
Serve with a scoop of ice cream while they still warm.
Optional extra : Crush your favourite biscuit/ cookie and sprinkle on-top
